SCUBA RANGER CLUB

The SSI Scuba Rangers Program is a club that offers numerous diving activities for children ages 8 - 12. Safety is a top priority and Scuba Rangers programs are only taught by specially trained instructors in a pool, or under confined water conditions in a protected area up to a maximum depth of 5 meters. You will earn the Scuba Rangers recognition rating.

Course Fees as listed are the basic costs related to Instructor, training costs & certification. Assuming students attend regularly scheduled classes and island training trips. Additional cost(s) depend on the individual student's specific needs for room/food/transport, and if there is need for different training dates.

Scuba Ranger

Learning to scuba dive in the Scuba Rangers Program is the foundation on which the children build self confidence, discipline and self esteem. This program is designed to keep children active while teaching them to reach their goals through hard work, commitment, and fun.

This programme is the Youth equivalent of the Open Water Diver course

Intermediate Ranger

To reach the Intermediate Ranger level, Rangers must complete five Scuba

Rangers Specialties and attend one Scuba Rangers Club Event.

Advanced Ranger

To earn the Advanced Ranger Specialty, Rangers must complete ten total Scuba Rangers Specialties and attend at least three Scuba Rangers Club Events.

Master Ranger

To reach the final and most sought-after Scuba Rangers Recognition Level, Master Ranger, Scuba Rangers must complete at least 15 Scuba Rangers Specialties, including Civics Ranger and Buddy Ranger, and attend at least five Scuba Rangers Club Events.
